Mad River Mountain will play host to a few summer events this year and will also be attending other events throughout the summer. Be sure to check out the fun we have in the off-season. As with all our events, times and other variables are subject to change due to weather and other circumstances.
Cinco de Mayo Rail Sessions on Sugarbush
May 5th, 2013
Join us for an afternoon of fun on Sugarbush. Before our groomers took off for the summer we pushed a MASSIVE pile of snow on Sugarbush for a spring rail jam. What better day than Cinco De Mayo! Those wishing to hit some rails will need to sign a waiver and pay $10 to have some fun. All the proceeds will go towards our Ski Patrol Volunteer Foundation and we'll have a BBQ, Soda and beer as well. More information about the set up and details will come soon. Savage Race @ Mad River Mountain

Savage Race is an intense 5-6 mile obstacle run with 25 world class obstacles, mud, fire, and barbed wire. Completion requires teamwork, courage, and the will to push your limits farther than you ever have before. Run individually or create a team! Savage Race is challenging fun that will give you and your friends an adrenaline buzz that lasts for days. For the price of a bar tab, you will have a "top five days of my life" kind of experience. But don't just take our word for it...
The Savage Obstacle Course
We carefully select each venue to ensure that our mud races occur on the gnarliest terrain available in your region. We won't settle for a boring cow pasture, or just any old piece of land. Nope. Our obstacle courses feature plenty of natural features to keep things interesting. Each venue is different, of course, but in all cases you should expect an extreme dirty mud racing environment!

Ski Patrol Spring Golf Scramble @ Blackhawk Golf Club
June 23, 2013 - $65 per person - Blackhawk Golf Club, Galena, OH
Join us at our annual spring golf outing to benefit our 100% volunteer ski patrol. This year's event will take place at the Blackhawk Golf Club in Galena, OH. Located just off of Interstate 71 and Route 36, the Blackhawk Golf Club might be easy to get to, but will challenge even the scratch golfer. Our annual scramble will feature mini-games like longest drive, closest to the pin and others. Also included in your $65 entry fee is dinner and prizes at the conclusion of your round.
