Avalanche Tubing Park

New For 2007-08

Mad River Mountain is proud to announce the addition of a SECOND carpet lift in the Avalanche Tubing Park! This addition will greatly increase the uphill capacity. MRM is also offering discounted weekday tubing tickets! Previously $20 for 2 hours, now you can buy a ticket for $15 Monday-Thursday.

The New Avalanche Tubing Park Features:

  • 10 CHUTES EACH 900 FEET LONG
  • TWO 450 FOOT CARPET/CONVEYOR LIFT
  • TIMBERLINE LODGE WITH DINING AND RESTROOMS
  • OUTDOOR FIRE PIT WITH TABLES AND CHAIRS
  • A SEPARATE PARKING LOT FROM THE MOUNTAIN
  • NEW TUBES

Now everyone can get out in the winter and enjoy the snow. Anyone can TUBE and it's tons of fun, it's easy, and it's better than sledding any day! Imagine the thrill of riding down your choice of 10 snowy 900 foot-long chutes each divided by snow banks made by our groomers. But that's only part of the fun, TWO 450 foot long carpet/conveyor lifts are available for you to ride up the hill, so the ride up is just as fun as the ride down! No experience or special equipment is needed. Just hop in your snow tube and enjoy the ride.

Pricing

Tickets are good for 2 hours from time of purchase and includes the use of snow tubes, carpet lift, and tubing lanes. Tubing is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Monday*-Thursday $15
Friday-Sunday, Holidays $20

*Except when Monday is a Holiday, then Friday-Sunday and Holiday pricing applies.

HELPFUL INFORMATION

To get to the Avalanche Tubing Park, you will see the Park on the left side of Snow Valley Road as you drive up to Mad River Mountain Resort. The Park is before the Ski Resort. Turn left into the Avalanche Tubing Park Parking lot.
